Introduction
Thanks for reading my ‘Technology & Stuff’ blog. I have been working with technology since I left school in 1978 and over the years have crafted out my unique working style and thought process. I hope you find something of interest within these pages and come back often to visit.
Inside this blog you will read of my day to day exploits as I struggle to keep up with technology in an ever-changing world. When I was younger I was a leader in my field, designing software and hardware that won awards for its innovation and functionality. Time passes and nowadays I try to pass on half a lifetime’s built up knowledge in the fields of information technology, management and project management to anyone who is prepared to listen.
That brings me to the ’stuff’. You will also read posts that are totally unconnected to technology within these pages from time to time. That’s because I will also try to share some of my thoughts, for what they’re worth. I have a dry, quirky sense of humor and I apologize in advance if that creeps through. 
I am an avid reader (mostly of RSS feeds nowadays, although I do try to make time for my ever-increasing pile of books and magazines), and that reading does spark the odd blog post idea now and again. Please indulge me. 
I have been very fortunate over the years to have had good teachers and eager students
